Receipts and Merkle proofs
Every tool call, approval, disclosure and outcome is a signed, hash-chained receipt on ledger.zanii.agency. The ledger returns a Merkle inclusion proof; verification works offline with the open SDK.
Security and trust, checkable by you
The design goal is that a client, a regulator or an insurer can verify the record without trusting Zanii. Here is what that means in practice.
Escrow released on proof
Escrow criteria name the receipt target that proves the outcome. The release verdict is deterministic, the release is signed by you, and the payout is idempotent per instruction.
Zanii ID login and step-up
Authorization code with PKCE, issuer and state checked before the single token exchange, sessions server-side with HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict cookies and CSRF tokens. Money and kill-switch actions require a fresh step-up.
Encryption at rest
One random data key per client, sealed under a master passphrase with scrypt and AES-256-GCM. Data-room files and offline directories are encrypted under it; offboarding destroys the key.
Audit chain anchored to the ledger
The audit table is append-only; every row has a chain hash and the head is anchored on the ledger hourly as a receipt. An offline verifier re-checks an export.
Data room
Files per engagement, size and type limits, the sha256 of each file receipted on arrival, served to the agent through a read-only tool.
Retention and erasure
Retention days per data class, legal holds with a receipt, pruning attested per client, and client erasure that crypto-shreds the key once every engagement has ended.
Scoped keys and egress
API keys carry scopes, expiry and IP allowlists; outbound calls are SSRF-guarded and allowlisted per host.
Status and responsible disclosure
The public status page shows agents, 24-hour tasks and open incidents. Report a vulnerability to info@zanii.agency with 'security' in the subject; we acknowledge within two business days.
